Marie Albertson Bio

Marie Albertson truly believes that mental health care changes lives for the better.  As Co-Founder and Chief Mental Health Officer of Caredness,a platform specializing in employee mental wellness, she provides her staff with the resources and guidance they need to help others overcome stress and anxiety and live their best possible lives.  Marie has seen first-hand, the transformative effects therapy can have on clients, and she is committed to sharing her guidance with those in need of support.

Clinically, Marie specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.  She takes a holistic approach to therapy incorporating elements of spirituality and mindfulness while staying grounded in tangible, real world problem solving.  Above all, she wants those seeking help to understand that they are not alone in their struggle, and that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.  This approach has been proven to boost employee satisfaction and productivity, making it exceptionally beneficial and profitable for all parties involved.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Antioch University, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and a Master’s in Education from Simon Fraser University.  She is also finishing an EdD in Human Resource Development from Drexel University. She is licensed in Alaska, Idaho, and Washington.

Marie currently lives in the greater Phoenix area with her family and their Cavalier puppies.  She enjoys spending time swimming, practicing yoga, and staying connected to her faith community.
